Fernando González is Spanish, born in 1981 in Valladolid. He is a Spanish native speaker, fluent in English, and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
He graduated in 2006 and holds a Master degree in Physics from the University of Valladolid (Spain). He has obtained the PhD degree in 2012 from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in Ghent University.
His expertise includes materials science, mainly regarding steel and silicon, and he has a wide experience with spectroscopy, as well as microscopy and other analysis techniques.
After working as a postdoctoral researcher for a short project in the Center of Molecular Modeling in Ghent University, Fernando joined DenK iP in March 2013. He passed the EP pre-exam in March 2016, and partially qualified for the EQE (parts B, C and D) in 2017.
